TUI Modular Web Architecture

The Modular Web Architecture (MWA) is TUI’s technology strategy for the e-commerce platform encompassing product-driven software development, lightweight technologies, a highly agile way of working, continuous delivery and cloud-native infrastructure.

With such a modular and distributed architecture, TUI will achieve faster “time to market”, be more adaptive, reduce risk and generate more value for the customer in a shorter period of time.

It is based on several well-established paradigms and technologies to create outstanding customer products at pace. This includes things like domain-driven design, microfrontends, static site generation, JAMstack, a design system and CI/CD.
